š Permission required: Manage Personal Integrations
Overview
The Google Calendar integration keeps your Coach meetings and your Google Calendar in sync. When you connect, Coach ceates Google calendar events for each new meeting in your coaching relationships, complete with a direct link back to the relevant Coach session.
Any updates you make in Coach (such as: rescheduling, renaming, or deleting a meeting) are reflected in Google Calendar. Equally, if you reschedule or cancel a Coach meeting directly in Google Calendar, Coach updates to match.
Only the relationship owner (usually the manager) needs to connect their Google Calendar. All members of the relationship will automatically receive a calendar invite.
Connecting your Google Calendar
Head to Coach in the main navigation menu.
Select Connect your calendar, on the right, and then select Connect Google Calendar from the dropdown.
You'll be redirected to Google's sign-in and permissions screen. Sign in with your Google account and select Allow to grant access.
Once authorized, you'll be returned to Coach and your calendar will be connected.
Make sure you sign in with the same Google account that matches your OneUp email address.
How the calendar connection works
Once connected, Coach and Google Calendar stay in sync automatically:
Creating a meeting in Coach generates a Google Calendar event and sends invites to all relationship members.
Updating a meeting in Coach (renaming it or changing the date and time) updates the Google Calendar event for all attendees.
Deleting a meeting in Coach cancels and removes the Google Calendar event.
Rescheduling or deleting a meeting in Google Calendar updates the meeting in Coach to match.
āļøMeetings created before you connected your calendar will not sync automatically. To add them to Google Calendar, make a small update to the meeting in Coach (such as changing the meeting name) to trigger the sync.
Team and membership changes
When the members of a team coaching relationship change, the calendar integration updates accordingly:
A newly added member will receive Google Calendar invites for all upcoming meetings in that relationship.
A removed member will be removed from the Google Calendar events for all upcoming meetings.
Past meetings are not affected by membership changes.
Disconnecting your Google Calendar
Navigate to Coach in the main navigation menu.
Select Disconnect Google Calendar.
Confirm the action.
Once disconnected, no further sync will take place in either direction. Meetings already in your Google Calendar will remain there but will no longer update if changes are made in Coach.
Tips š”
Only one calendar can be connected at a time.
Only the relationship owner's Google Calendar connection drives the sync. Members receive invites automatically and do not need to connect their own calendars.
Every calendar event includes a direct link to the Coach session, so you can jump straight from your calendar to the relevant meeting.
